Our history
Since 1975, John Jolly has been glassing surfboards under his Shady Hollow label. Working with a number of Australia’s best shapers over several decades, John produced Shady Hollow boards up until 1995.
Last year, John decided to bring Shady Hollow boards back. With ‘70s and ‘80s design aesthetic, but modern touches, Shady Hollow Remastered boards remain true to their handcrafted origins.

The Process
Each Shady Hollow remastered board is handcrafted to the personalised specifications of its owner. Uniquely tailored to your needs, these boards are rare, and one of a kind. To understand what you’re after, once you’ve entered your details on the orders page, we’ll be in touch to work with you to create your ultimate board.
